He accessed Mr Liu’s bank details to drain the dead man’s accounts and even on the day of the killing itself used Liu’s phone to send a text message to his family saying ‘I okay’ when the dead man’s mother attempted to contact her son.

Police raided Jiang’s flat in Beswick, Manchester, and found traces of Liu’s blood over the walls and ceilings and sofa despite extensive attempts by the killer to clean it up.
